Tools for faculty, students, and staff

The following tools are available for the domains

Google Workspace

Two tools available with your University email credentials or directly from the Google menu.
Gemini App Google’s AI assistant for writing, summarising, analysing, and supporting study or work activities.
NotebookLM A tool for working with documents, sources, and materials uploaded by the user.
Microsoft M365 A5

Copilot Chat Basic
Accessible with your university Microsoft account, after appropriate registration.
Consensus Enterprise

An intelligent tool for literature search.
You can access it with your University email account.
A trial of the advanced features is available until 31 July 2026.
From 1 August 2026, up to 5,000 accounts can be registered using a University institutional email address to access the advanced features. Accounts created before 31 July 2026 will remain active and will continue to have access to the advanced features.

Advanced research tools

Overview of advanced API interaction services available for purchase using research funds.

These platforms provide access to advanced artificial intelligence services through cloud environments that are already available or can be activated under University agreements.
They are the entry point for using models and APIs in research contexts.
Azure Foundry

Already available through a subscription with CRUI convention credits.
AWS Bedrock

Already available through an account with CRUI convention credits.
Google Vertex

Already available through credits to be preloaded via the OCRE convention.
The following services are not listed as standalone direct-access tools, but as solutions that can be used through the platforms listed above, in particular Azure Foundry or AWS Bedrock.
Claude Anthropic

Accessible through Azure Foundry or AWS Bedrock.
