AI governance at the University of Pavia is structured around a Coordination Committee and three Working Groups (WGs) focused on Teaching, Research, and Administrative Processes.
The Coordination Committee is responsible for ensuring alignment and coordination across the activities of the Working Groups, fostering communication and integration among them. It also promotes and oversees cross-cutting initiatives, particularly in the areas of guidelines, training, and communication, including through the establishment of dedicated task forces when appropriate.
Composition of the Coordination Committee
The Artificial Intelligence Coordination Committee is chaired by Prof. Lucia Sacchi (Rector’s Delegate for Artificial Intelligence) and is composed of:

- Francesco Lescai (Coordinator, Working Group on AI in Teaching)
- Michela Moratto (Coordinator, Working Group on AI and Digitalization in Administrative Processes)

- Nadia Pazzi (Privacy, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit)
